Stand Alone

This type of system could be used at a remote home location, cabin or RV and does not require access to the power grid.   The system would contain batteries to store energy for use at night.   A Stand Alone system could also be installed in a home as an emergency preparedness device.   Unlike a generator, which requires fuel and monthly maintenance and is a consumer of resources, a solar power system will provide power to the critical systems in a home or small business while removing their cost of operation from your power bill paying you back each month.  

These critical systems could include lights, furnace, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, television or computer.   When a power outage occurs the solar power system would provide energy to these systems as long as necessary allowing you to live a more normal lifestyle while services are restored.   In remote locations solar power is often the cheapest energy solution and unlike a generator is quiet, clean and efficient.
